Sasko Janev (b. 1970) is a multidisciplinary artist and creative entrepreneur based in Negotino, North Macedonia. Formally trained in the fine arts, Sasko has spent decades building a diverse body of work that spans realistic ink drawings, surreal oil paintings, and traditional woodcarving. His art explores themes of identity, emotion, and the human condition, often blending classical techniques with modern storytelling.

After years of freelance work in Macedonia and the Czech Republic, Sasko returned to his hometown and founded Studio Franco in 2002 — a full-service digital marketing and design agency offering branding, web development, photography, and creative strategy to clients of all sizes.

In addition to his own artistic practice, Sasko remains deeply committed to nurturing the local creative scene. In 2023, he organized “STATE OF”, an exhibition in Negotino that celebrated local artists and brought together diverse talent from the community — a project that reflects his lifelong passion for both art and collaboration.
